Bard's tale arrives on Amazon Alexa
Well, the arrival of The Bard's Tale on Amazon Alexa is not the strangest news I have ever heard. Although I find the strange concept for a RPN RPG, I think developers should consider developing more audio games. In addition to being interesting, it's a great way to offer games to people who can not see or who can not focus on a TV for any reason.
Wanderwort, with their internal development team, Polar Night Studio develops the tale of the Bard — Warlocks of Largefearn. Players will choose between 4 different playable classes. Players will be able to further customize their characters — with two advanced subclasses that can be unlocked by the character's progress. The player can also recruit companions to accompany you on your trip, where they will accompany you to fight and give you tips throughout your adventure.
Johan Stronger, CEO of Wanderwort, said this about the game:
Give life to The Bard's Tale so that another generation can experience it is something that is important to me as a player. The team managed to create a semi-open world that will plunge players of all ages.
If you have a device compatible with the screen, you can always enjoy some visuals. The tale of the Bard — Warlocks of Largefearn has works of art drawn by hand for characters, places, and even during the fight. The characters and places come to life with detailed illustrations creating the atmosphere of this fantastic adventure. Players will be able to see the combat grid and make movements that will affect the outcome of the battle.
It's a shame that many people immediately write this game. I like new and different experiences, and that's how we get them. I certainly plan to at least check that. The game being on Amazon Alexa is not a reason to write it in my mind.
