Blasphemous announces DLC and a sequel

_ blasphemous _ is considered one of the best metroidvanias of recent years, and at The Game Kitchen, Spanish study by this game, they are not ready to leave this property. With a surprise trailer, today it has been confirmed that a free third DLC will reach the end of the year and, if that were not enough, a sequel is already in development .

To begin, next December 9 will be available _Wounds of Eventide _ , the third free expansion, which will give you a definitive ending to the adventure of the penitent. At the moment it is unknown exactly what we will see in this DLC, but it is very likely that new areas, enemies, bosses and challenges are available.

Regarding the sequel, The Game Kitchen has confirmed that it is already under development _blasphemous II _ , which will be available at some point of 2023. At the moment there is no more information about it. Considering the date, it is very likely that this continuation is available in new generation consoles, as well as in Switch and PC.
